DETAILS
New construction of a 570,000 square foot state-of-the-art building for the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center. The design-bid-build project was built by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for the U.S. General Services Administration and replaces six existing buildings and surface parking lots. The steel-frame, glass curtain wall building achieved LEED Platinum status and includes offices, dining facilities, childcare center, structured parking, and laboratory spaces that feature high bay facilities for transportation simulation activities.
