Procon was founded by two childhood friends with a shared vision: leveraging emerging technology to deliver a new standard of excellence in construction. Building upon their engineering backgrounds and a repurposed business plan from their graduate studies at Virginia Tech, co-founders Mark Ilich and Kyu Jung, laid the foundation for Procon as a technology-driven construction management company.

Ilich and Jung saw an industry where technical experts often worked in silos, disconnected from a client’s ultimate business objectives. Procon was established in 2000 to bridge this critical gap, creating a firm that integrates deep technical expertise with a steadfast focus on each client’s strategic goals.
This founding principle has shaped the company culture for 25 years. Today, we manage billion dollar programs for million-square-foot federal campuses, critical health and science facilities, the nation’s largest convention centers and busiest transportation hubs, and proudly invest in innovative efforts for the higher education community.
